<h2><strong>Medical Records Collection</strong></h2> <p style="text-align: justify;">International SOS delivers health care services on behalf of the U.S. Military, their family members, and other TRICARE eligible beneficiaries overseas. Because this population is highly mobile, as part of their overall health care delivery program and to ensure patients’ continuity of care, all TOP Providers are required to submit patient medical records to International SOS.&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Note: You are no longer required to send medical reports to the beneficiary's Military Treatment Facility (MTF).&nbsp;</p> <p>TOP Providers are REQUIRED to submit medical records for ALL authorized care, including inpatient, outpatient and telehealth services. Note: Durable Equipment (DE) is excluded from this requirement.&nbsp;</p> <p>Please send all records for both TRICARE Prime Overseas and TRICARE Prime Remote Overseas beneficiaries. Note: International SOS only requires medical records for Active Duty Service Members (ADSMs) and Active Duty Family Members (ADFMs).</p> <p><strong>Medical records can be sent in ANY LANGUAGE.&nbsp;</strong>TOP Providers are not required to submit Medical Records in English.</p> <h4><strong>Data Protection &amp; Privacy Assurances</strong></h4> <p>As a global medical assistance organization, the protection of personal and health information is a key priority for International SOS. The release of Medical Records will be in accordance with all local legal requirements relating to the disclosure of personally identifiable information (PII) or personal health information (PHI). All Authorizations are sent to Providers together with a Patient Administration Form (PAF) that can be used to obtain the beneficiary's signature for the purpose of releasing medical information to International SOS.</p> <h4><strong>Secure, Electronic Submission of Patient Medical Records</strong></h4> <p>The fastest and most secure way to submit medical records is via the Medical Records Collection (MRC) Online Secure Portal. This can be one of your own portals used currently at your facility or you may use International SOS’ centralized online portal for medical record submissions.
