<h4>Seeking Emergency Care While Traveling in the U.S.</h4>
<p>If you experience an emergency while traveling, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Contact your PCM or International SOS, the <a href="http://www.tricare-overseas.com/contact-us" target="_blank">TOP Contractor</a>, within 24 hours or the next business day. If admitted, you or someone on your behalf must notify the <a href="http://www.tricare-overseas.com/contact-us" target="_blank">TOP Contractor.</a> Additionally, Active-Duty Service Members should notify their chain of command.</p>
<p>TRICARE Overseas Program (TOP) beneficiaries traveling in the United States are encouraged to seek care from a U.S. Military Treatment Facility (MTF) if one is located nearby. If this is not possible, then TRICARE Overseas beneficiaries should seek care from a TRICARE Approved Provider in the United States<i>. </i></p>

</ul>
<h4>Seeking Urgent Care While Traveling in the U.S.</h4>
<p>TRICARE Prime Overseas and TRICARE Prime Remote Overseas enrolled beneficiaries do not need a referral to get urgent care when traveling stateside. You may get urgent care from any TRICARE-Authorized Urgent Care Center or Network Provider.**</p>
<p>** Note: If you are enrolled in a TRICARE Prime Overseas plan and seek urgent care from a Non-Network Provider outside of a TRICARE-Authorized urgent care center, you will have to pay point-of-service option cost-shares. Active Duty Service Members must follow up with their PCM when they receive care outside of a military hospital or clinic, in accordance with DoD and Service regulations.</p>

<h4>Seeking Routine Care While in the U.S.</h4>
<p>TRICARE Prime Overseas and TRICARE Prime Remote Overseas beneficiaries should get all routine care before travelling, as it isn’t usually authorized. If you need routine care:</p>

<li>You must contact your Primary Care Manager (PCM) first (if TRICARE Prime Overseas)</li>
<li>You must contact your TOP Regional Call Center (if TRICARE Prime Remote Overseas)</li>
</ul>
<p>Note: Medical care services should be provided on a cashless/claimless basis. If you are asked to make a payment, please <a href="http://www.tricare-overseas.com/contact-us" target="_blank">contact</a> your TOP Regional Call Center before getting care or making payments (if TRICARE Prime Overseas or TRICARE Prime Remote Overseas).</p>
